GULAB JAMUN – INDIAN DESSERT
Gulab Jamun is one of Indian Dessert made with of fry kova ball soak in sugar syurp. This is First recipe in my blog to start Sweet Recipe . Let see how to make this.
INGREDIENTS:
For Making Gulab jamun
Unsweet
Kova – 1 cup
Maida -3
tsp
Baking
soda -1/2 tsp
Ghee/Oil
– 1 tsp
Salt – a
pinch
Milk – 2
to 3 tsp
Pista –
few for garnish
For Making Sugar Syrup
Sugar -
1.5 cup
Water – 2
cups
Cardamom
– 2 nos powder
Rose
essence - ½ tsp
How to
make Gulab Jamun:
First we
have to make sugar syrup.
Take
container mix sugar, water, cardamom and keep in stove boil in syrup till it
come to sticky consistency. Now sugar syrup ready shut off stove. Now add
rose essence.
Now we
have to make jamun ball. Take bowl knead koya without any lumps and add maida,
salt and baking soda knead well to make dough if required add milk 2 tsp so
dough will wont dry add oil or ghee to make dough even. Apply some ghee
or oil in hand for making balls and deep fry in oil.
Now add
fry jamun ball in sugar syrup. Garnish it with chopped pista Soak for 2 hours
or after it cool down set in refrigerator for an hour serve it with Vanilla Ice
cream.
