UGADI PACHADI RECIPE

Ugadi is new year for  Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka of South India. This dish is made for offering god on ugadi day  with Six ingredient for six emotion . Mango – Suprise Jaggery-  Happiness Neem Flower – Sadness Tamarind – Disguist Chilli – Anger Salt - Fear INGREDIENT Mango - chopped 1/4 Cup Jaggery – 3 tbsp Neem flower – 1 tbsp Tamarind – small gooseberry size Red chill powder – ¼ tsp Salt – ½ tsp How to make pachadi Take a bowl  1/4 cup water add tamarind and jaggery soak for 10 mintues. Now clean the neem flower and chop mango  add in soak water then add chilli powder and salt mix well  and offer to god  . Happy Ugadi 

KUTHIRAVALI PONGAL

Kuthiraivali /Barnyard millet pongal. Now a days everyone think to eat health food.  This is one of healthy and taste recipes .  Ingredients Kuthiraivali /Barnyard Millet – 1cup Moong Dal/ Yellow Lentils – ½ cup Pepper corn – 1Tbsp Cumin seed – 1 Tbsp Chopped Ginger – 2 tsp Hing - ½ tsp Oil – 3tbsp Ghee – 1tbsp Curry leaves – few Cashew nut – 10 nos Water – 3 cups Salt – 2tsp Let see how to make Kuthiraivali pongal Take kuthiraivali and moong dal in container wash it for two times and add 3 cup water soak for ½ hour and add salt to millet and dal  pressure cook for 3 whistles let cool down till pressure release. Now take a kadai for making tempering add oil and Ghee let it heat then add cashew nut fry till it is light golden colour then add one by one chopped ginger, pepper, cumin seed, curry leaves and Hing. GULAB JAMUN – INDIAN DESSERT

Gulab Jamun is one of Indian Dessert made with of  fry kova ball soak in sugar syurp. This is First recipe in my blog to start Sweet Recipe . Let see how to make this.   INGREDIENTS: For Making Gulab jamun Unsweet Kova – 1 cup Maida -3 tsp Baking soda -1/2 tsp Ghee/Oil – 1 tsp Salt – a pinch Milk – 2 to 3 tsp Pista – few for garnish For Making Sugar Syrup Sugar - 1.5 cup Water – 2 cups Cardamom – 2 nos powder Rose essence - ½ tsp How to make Gulab Jamun: First we have to make sugar syrup. Take container mix sugar, water, cardamom and keep in stove boil in syrup till it come to sticky consistency.  Now sugar syrup ready shut off stove. Now add rose essence. Now we have to make jamun ball.
