SOYA CHUNKS FRY

Soya chunks is a complete proteins food which is healthy to children, it should be regularly add to our diet also . My son likes a lot this soya chucks, so i used to cook regularly. Soya chunk masala fry it is simple and easy to make. let see how to make. Preparation Time : 45 Serve : 2 Ingredient For Marination Soya chunks - 1 cup Besan flour - 1tbsp Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp Garam masala - 1 tbsp Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp Curd - 1tsp Salt  - 1tsp For Tempering Oil - 3 tbsp Fennel seed  - 1/2 tsp Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp Small onion/ shallot - 7 nos Garlic chopped - 1 tbsp Curry - as required Coriander leaves - for garnish How to prepare Take container boil the water when it is hot add soya chunks and rest it for 10 min after remove it from hot water then add cold water rinse it for two to three time till raw smell has to be gone & squeeze the water complete for soya chunks. MUSKMELON SARBATH

Summer here is so hot. It’s always feeling to drink chill juices and water. My son eats more fruits than veggie, so in my home i will keep stock of fruits always. Today am going make Musk melon Sarbath.                                 Musk melon is healthy fruits full of vitamins and mineral. It is also called as Cantaloupe, kirni palam in tamil.  It is coolant agent to body, rich in fibre, reduce summer heat and remove toxic from body. Preparation Time: 15 min Serve: 2 Ingredients Musk Melon – 1 cup Sugar – 3 tbsp Nannari Syrup – 2 tbsp Honey – 1 tbsp Lemon – 1tbsp Cool water  - ¼ cup How to prepare Musk melon sarbath. Wash muskmelon and chopped in bit and take a blender add sugar, chopped musk melon, honey and cool water blend it. Now pour in container add nannari syrups and lemon mix well. VADA CURRY - SOUTH INDIAN RECIPE

Vada curry is one of famous dish in Chennai. It is very often serve with idli, dosa and appam. I prefer for chappati also nice combo.  Today i am serving with hot idli .Let see how to do the recipe. Ingredient: For Grind Chana dal/split chick peas – 1 cup Red chillies – 2 nos Garlic – 2 nos Fennel Seeds – 1tsp Oil – 1 tsp Salt – ½ tsp For Curry Onion – 2 nos Tomato – 1 no G.chilles – 1 Ginger garlic – 1 tsp Chille powder – 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon – 1 Cloves – 2 nos Cardamom -  2 nos Garam Masala – 1tsp Curry leaves – few Coriander- few Oil  - 3 tbsp Salt – 1 tsp  How to prepare vada curry First grind all ingredient mention for grind  and steam it for 8 to 10 minutes. UGADI PACHADI RECIPE

Ugadi is new year for  Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka of South India. This dish is made for offering god on ugadi day  with Six ingredient for six emotion . Mango – Suprise Jaggery-  Happiness Neem Flower – Sadness Tamarind – Disguist Chilli – Anger Salt - Fear INGREDIENT Mango - chopped 1/4 Cup Jaggery – 3 tbsp Neem flower – 1 tbsp Tamarind – small gooseberry size Red chill powder – ¼ tsp Salt – ½ tsp How to make pachadi Take a bowl  1/4 cup water add tamarind and jaggery soak for 10 mintues. Now clean the neem flower and chop mango  add in soak water then add chilli powder and salt mix well  and offer to god  . Happy Ugadi 

KUTHIRAVALI PONGAL

Kuthiraivali /Barnyard millet pongal. Now a days everyone think to eat health food.  This is one of healthy and taste recipes .  Ingredients Kuthiraivali /Barnyard Millet – 1cup Moong Dal/ Yellow Lentils – ½ cup Pepper corn – 1Tbsp Cumin seed – 1 Tbsp Chopped Ginger – 2 tsp Hing - ½ tsp Oil – 3tbsp Ghee – 1tbsp Curry leaves – few Cashew nut – 10 nos Water – 3 cups Salt – 2tsp Let see how to make Kuthiraivali pongal Take kuthiraivali and moong dal in container wash it for two times and add 3 cup water soak for ½ hour and add salt to millet and dal  pressure cook for 3 whistles let cool down till pressure release. Now take a kadai for making tempering add oil and Ghee let it heat then add cashew nut fry till it is light golden colour then add one by one chopped ginger, pepper, cumin seed, curry leaves and Hing. GULAB JAMUN – INDIAN DESSERT

Gulab Jamun is one of Indian Dessert made with of  fry kova ball soak in sugar syurp. This is First recipe in my blog to start Sweet Recipe . Let see how to make this.   INGREDIENTS: For Making Gulab jamun Unsweet Kova – 1 cup Maida -3 tsp Baking soda -1/2 tsp Ghee/Oil – 1 tsp Salt – a pinch Milk – 2 to 3 tsp Pista – few for garnish For Making Sugar Syrup Sugar - 1.5 cup Water – 2 cups Cardamom – 2 nos powder Rose essence - ½ tsp How to make Gulab Jamun: First we have to make sugar syrup. Take container mix sugar, water, cardamom and keep in stove boil in syrup till it come to sticky consistency.  Now sugar syrup ready shut off stove. Now add rose essence. Now we have to make jamun ball. Take bowl knead koya without any lumps and add maida, salt and baking soda knead well to make dough if required add milk 2 tsp so dough will wont dry  add oil or ghee to make dough even. Apply some ghee or oil in hand for making  ball
